My Thoughts
Another awesome Lauren Blakely novel that I received in exchange for an honest review. Featuring, a strong, fiery, sexually liberated heroine who knows what she wants, and doesn’t depend on any man. Highly recommended to women who enjoy erotic romance, with a strong female lead. Warning, there is one heck of a cliff hanger in the end! And yes, I did grab the next book in the series, Night After Night! I’m dying to know what happens next with Julia and Clay!
First Night is a fun and sexy read that I finished in one sitting. The writing flows smoothly, and features the POV of both Julia and Clay. There was a mention of her being concerned that Clay was a cop, so I’m thinking she is/was involved with something unsavory, but it was dropped and wasn’t mentioned again. I’m curious if I will learn what exactly she is/was involved with in the next installment of the series.
Overall, 4/5 stars. 🙂
