April L Wood is an author – currently writing a young-adult, urban fantasy, horror series titled Season Of The Witch, beginning with Winter’s Curse, TBR through Wind Trail Publishing 10/16 – a book blogger for A Well Read Woman Blog, an author interviewer, a professional beta reader, and a caffeinated book reviewer. When she is not glued to her computer or a book, she is busy taming wild spiderwort, (God, those plants are annoying!), obsessing over her gardens to the point of insanity, feeding wildlife, and propagating her ever-growing collection of African violets. She lives in a large, beautiful, historic tudor colonial filled to the brim with her family, two cats, and three dogs.
My mission is to promote authors and spread the word about great books. My reviews are 100% honest, and are based on content, character development, plot, personal taste, as well as other factors. As such, I only review books that I believe I will enjoy, not only as a book reviewer, but as a fan. If I don’t think I will enjoy reading your work, I will not accept your book for review. However, my accepting your work does not guarantee a positive review. I will publish my review regardless of the rating. As an author myself, my book review policy may change without notice as to focus on my own writing. Anything I have agreed to review will still be done as I’ve promised to do. Thanks Pete. I do actually have Kindle installed on my PC. The mobi files aren’t accepted because there is no way to open them on Windows 8, even with Calibre.
It’s a conundrum I tell ya! The PC attempts to open it with Internet Explorer, a lot of help that is! So I’ve just been accepting PDF, Kindle Amazon, and of course print copies. But thanks for trying to help! And I wish you lots of success on your book tour! It will be fun, I promise!!!
