AWRW Book Review: Meredith With The Waves, by Author Amanda Gale

Meredith’s journe24084853y has brought her far from the buoyant, idealistic girl she was before. But she has grown wiser and more courageous with each experience, never losing her integrity, her kindness, or her spark for life. In Book Four, Meredith With the Waves, she comes to be at peace with the world and with herself as she and her husband begin their life together. Their relationship will blossom and mature as they face trials and share laughter, together finding that life’s imperfections are what make perfection after all.

In this poetic final installment of the Meredith series, Meredith learns of intense love, intense sacrifice, intense sadness, and intense joy. It is a story of birth and death, life and family, and the ways they teach us what is truly important. A poignant tale of reconciliation and the putting to rest of personal demons, it is a truly satisfying conclusion.

About The Meredith Series:

The series chronicles the remaking of her life and her relationships with three men, each struggling with his own journey. My Thoughts:

*Sighs* I didn’t want to finish this book… and not for the same reasons that other reviewers mark a book DNF, (did not finish). Rather, I enjoyed it so much that I didn’t want to part with it. I wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye to Meredith yet.

The book blurb promises a “truly satisfying conclusion”, and I have to agree that it was. As hard as it was for me to finish this series, I am so glad that it ended as a ‘happily ever after’. Meredith deserved that.

Book 4, Meredith With The Waves, was completely different from the first three installments. Meredith finally gains the upper hand, she refuses to submit, nor settle, and she is so happy she doesn’t know what to do with all her happiness! 🙂

Meredith With The Waves reads like a classic Hallmark romance; a bit of tragedy, and lots of sappy, whirlwind romance, with a happily ever after. And don’t we all just love the sap?! Romance readers, you will thrive on Meredith With The Waves!

Favorite Part:

I’ve been sworn to secrecy to not reveal who Meredith ends up with. 🙂 But I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! My heart absolutely melted with the direction this book turned!

Recommendation:

I would recommend Meredith With The Waves to anyone who read the first three installments of the Meredith series. I’d also extend my recommendation to romance readers who hadn’t read the first three books, because there is a lot of back story in this one that I think the reader would feel caught up. (However, I’d strongly recommend the reader to start with book 1 so they can take the journey along with Meredith).
