Brin Guivera, of Brin’s Book Blog, was kind enough to nominate me for the Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award. Thanks Brin! 🙂
Brin is a big fan of young adult novels, and science fiction/fantasy. She also enjoys the occasional contemporary romance, so if you are fans of either of these genres, check out her heartfelt and thoughtful reviews here!
Here are the Rules:
1.) Thank the blogger who nominated you, linking back to their site.
2.) Put the award logo on your blog.
3.) Answer the ten questions asked by the nominator.
4.) Make up ten new questions for your nominees to answer.
5.) Nominate ten people.
Brin’s questions were as follows:
1. Who is your favourite Disney villain?
“Darling, I live for fur! I worship fur!”
Cruella De vil, of One Hundred and One Dalmations! ❤
2. Tea or coffee drinker?
Coffee! Starbucks Sumatra dark roast to be exact!
3. What animal would be your spirit animal?
I had a difficult time with this one so I took a quiz. These were my results:
“The Bear: You are the compass of love. People come to you with relationship issues, heartbreak issues, and you are perfectly fine with that. It’s hard when you’re away from the people that love you. You never do anything alone, a trip for one has no interest for you unless it’s a trip to find love that you don’t have.
To you, the best thing in the world is your husband or wife. To everyone else, they love you for your mercy and forgiveness, because your offer both easily. However, when someone makes you angry enough where it’s hard to forgive them, just remember that they are human. You would want their forgiveness as well.”
Yep, that about sums me up.
4. What are your favourite TV shows?
Right now I am nuts about Orange is the New Black, watching it relentlessly on Netflix, the same episodes over and over again! And also I have been binge watching all three seasons of American Horror Story! LOVE!!!!!
5. Who is your celebrity crush?
Is it weird that I don’t have one?
6. What is your favourite childhood book?
The Mrs. Piggle Wiggle Series! Oh my gosh…. I wish I still had my box set! I can remember my mother buying it for me and how exciting it was for my 9 year old little brain.:)
7. Would you prefer to have the ability to fly or the ability to turn invisible?
I would love to have the ability to soar high in the sky, and fly above everyone and with my favorite birds. I have a backyard bird sanctuary, and I’d love to become a bird for a day and hang out them. 🙂 Especially my cardinals!
8. What’s your favourite song at the moment?
Black Roses Bloom, my husband wrote it for m’oi. ❤
9. In the event of a Zombie Apocalypse, what would be your weapon of choice?
Ha! I have several dozen used needles (medication) that nobody will take (doctor’s offices/labs) so playing darts with Zombies would put those babies to good use!
10. What was the last movie you saw at the cinema?
Shoot… I don’t even know it has been so long. Something horror though. 🙂
Thanks Brin for the questions and nomination! This was fun!

2.) How many books do you read per week? Per month?
3.) What genres of books do you enjoy, and why?
4.) Do you take notes when you review books? And if you do, how? Freehand, or typing?
5.) What do you think of DNFs? Do you have any on your shelves? Or will you force yourself to drudge through, to the bitter end?
6.) Have you ever gotten any nasty feedback from Authors who you have written negative reviews of?
7.) Do you post reviews, regardless of ratings?
8.) Where is your favorite place to read? A cozy reading nook? Lawn chair outside by the pool? Your local library? Or perhaps in a cozy chair at Barnes and Noble? 🙂
9.) What is the longest book you have ever read? (Go ahead, brag a little) 😉

YES!!!! 🙂 So great! Except one about a pig… There was a weird one where a family of pigs ate another pig by accident and they all turned green, lol. That one I did not like! I remember being mad about it. 🙂
