Summer is winding down and Fall is nearly upon us. Although this Tag isn’t ALL about books, (I know, how dare’th I!), I still wanted to join in on the fun! 🙂 Please feel free to join in yourself, if you too ❤ Summer!
1.) What is your favorite bronzer for summer?
Ha! People still wear bronzer? No kidding… Well, I most certainly do not. I mean, have you seen me? I have the skin tone of a china doll, and I prefer to keep it that way. Besides, bronzer streaks and looks more orangey than tan. No thanks…
2.) You’re relaxing in a hammock, on a tropical island. What are you sipping on? (Favorite summer drink)
At first, I thought Cape Cod. But on second thought, my true favorite summer drink is a nice, strong margarita! I drink my weight in cape cods around Christmas time. Margaritas, on the other hand, are strictly a summer drink!
Frozen please, hold the salt!!
3.) Favorite summer lip product?
Forever devoted to you, dearest Strawberry Chapstick
4.) Pool or Beach?
Pools are a lot of maintenance. I prefer the ocean!
5.) Summer = crazy hair! What’s your must-have styling product?
This. Absolutely this.
6.) Sun bathing or fake tan?
Why someone would crawl into a coffin shaped apparatus, and allow themselves to be baked alive in cancer causing, fake sun rays makes about as much sense to me as my third grade teacher did, when she told me, “girls shouldn’t be friends with boys”.
(Mrs. Minich, I am STILL friends with boys, thank you very much. And I will always dislike you for the way you made me feel that day. You are a total loser.)
Sun bathing, on the other hand, has it’s own novelty… Not that it is much healthier for you!
7.) Favorite summer nail polish?
Eep!!! OPI Pearl of Wisdom looks fabulous, Dahling! Especially with a bit of a summer tan!
8.) Any summer traditions?
Yes, my family and I go to Forest Park Zoo every summer with my nephew. Really, I think I have more fun than he does!
And the animals seem happy and healthy, and are well taken care of. 🙂
In addition to that, I frequent local shows, and concerts a bit more in the summer than I do during the rest of the year. I don’t particularly enjoy dragging around a heavy winter coat around with me in the winter! Summer is more care free! 🙂
9.) Favorite summer scent?
My signature scent, Flirtatious, by Kohls. A white floral fragrance with hints of citrus and vanilla. It is simply divine!
10. Favorite BBQ food?
Burnt hot dogs, tangy barbecue chicken, any and all pasta salads… :p
Leave your hot dogs on the grill for a few minutes longer. Seriously, it’s good!

11. What’s your favorite summer-proof product?
Hmmm…. I don’t know! Sunglasses, I guess!
12.) Any summer vacation plans this year? No plans? Tell us about your dream summer trip!
Nope, just day-trips to and fro locally, and that is A-OK with me!

I actually do try to read books based on the season. Puts me in the mood to read! Here are a few good summer books:
