Elisa’s husband Ryan is a work-a-holic. He frequently gets called off on business trips, and 2 hour conference calls. So when Elisa notices a man checking her out from the balcony at the fancy Vegas hotel she is staying at ALONE, it feels great to be noticed. Unfortunately for Elisa, soon enough she will get more attention than she ever thought possible.
It turns out that the man watching her is sexy Senator Carson Royal, a man who happens to be friends with her husband. They strike up a conversation at the bar and Elisa wonders what it would be like to be with him for one night…
But what happens in Vegas, doesn’t always stay in Vegas and Elisa has to carry the burden of her transgression. One night with Senator Carson Royal may end up costing her everything…
As a novella, this story read fast. Too fast! My only complaint is that I wish it was longer because I absolutely ate this story up! Phenomenal! They are so many twists and turns that I did not see coming! Several times I gasped out loud because I was so in shock where Dahlia Savage took her story next.
Elisa and Carson’s sex scene was skimmed over which was disappointing, but the rest of the story made up for it. Of course not everyone appreciates erotica like I do, so the author may have been playing it safe. Really though, it doesn’t take away from the story because like I said previously, the suspenseful twists and turns make up for it and provided plenty of excitement.
I also must mention that I love the cover and the title of this book. The depiction of a stunning woman looking over her shoulder as if she is watching her back is perfect for this story.
I am giving Indiscretion by Dahlia Savage 4 very well deserved stars. I would HIGHLY recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a good suspense!
***I received an e-copy of this book from the Author in exchange for a fair and honest review.
